September… How did that happen?! It’s that time of year where you should really focus on finishing the year strong. Here are our top tips on how to you really set your compass with laser focus and make sure you achieve the goals you set out for yourself earlier in the year.
Your end goals
Start here. Take a look at the goals you set and where you wanted to be by the end of 2023. Now is the perfect time to be assessing this because it isn’t too late to take action! Get yourself set over the next month and make Q4 the best one yet!
Assess
As you probably know by now, we use SMART goals here at Brentor. This makes it really easy to assess at this point where you’re up to. Are you on track to achieve what you wanted to? If not, take a look at how you can course correct, what actions you need to take to get back on track. By using this technique, you really get clarity, focus and control over your goals! Which, lets face it, is a winning formula in achieving success!
Finishing Strong
Once you’ve carried out your assessment and identified where you might need to adapt or course correct, it’s time to create your strategy. Identify exactly what you need to do and apply the same Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-based framework. Remember, goal setting is really personal to you! Don’t compare yourself to other peoples’ progress or what other investors have achieved this year. Focus on you!
